Consignment

The dispatch of goods to an agent, the consignee, with a view to their subsequent sale, generally on behalf of the sender. The latter retains ownership of the goods until they are sold. Coface covers the buyer's non-payment from the moment the goods have been definitively sold by the sender or on their behalf.
